My flights are officially purchased. I leave the country July 4th returning December 4th to Denver. Looks like I'll be celebrating the fourth of July on an airplane!

Graduated
Well, graduation feels bittersweet. I'm extremely happy that it's over. By the end of last semester I wasn't even sure I wanted to come back to finish school, yet it would have been a poor choice and a great regret to not graduate with what I consider to be some of the most important people in my life. Congratulations to everyone, you deserve it.
At the same time I don't want it to be over. There was this moment at the engineering banquet when awards were being given out and I suddenly felt ridiculously sad. I think there will never be another moment in our lives with the opportunity to be around so many amazing people. Thank you all for sharing the last four years of your lives with me.
Good luck to everyone with their post-graduation plans. As for mine, I need to flesh out my plans for Peru. In the end I think it's important to remember that change will be good. I will miss you.

Beginnings
It's mid-finals week so what do you think I'm doing? Designing a blog of course...
If you don't know by now I'm likely leaving for Peru in the next few months. I can't tell you there is a distinct reason for going, but I just have this feeling that I need to get away from life for a while. Peru seems like the perfect place. I'll be able to learn Spanish, experience a wonderful culture, and see one of the wonders of the world. It's important to remember that life is boring when you don't take risks!
I realize that I won't be able to keep in touch with almost everyone that I care about. This blog is for you, so you can keep track of me. I don't know how often I'll post but I'll try to keep everyone informed. As always, anyone is welcome to come visit me.
